Unique Properties
The Music Hub 1, as an intelligent control hub, redefines the multiple room music experience. It centralizes audio control across multiple speakers and supports simultaneous connection with up to three devices, addressing the repeated pairing and playback dropouts typical of conventional Bluetooth speakers and enabling seamless one press switching between devices. Drawing on the look and mechanics of MIDI controllers, it offers intuitive audio adjustment, meeting personalized listening needs.

Production Technology
Equipped with an independent DAC chip and professional audio signal processing, the device supports up to 384kHz per 32bit audio sampling and 130dB SNR, ensuring high fidelity, ultra pure audio output and creating an immersive listening atmosphere. The outer shell is made of high strength ABS material with a matte finish, enhancing the overall quality.
Design Challenge
In terms of operation, the goal is to make professional grade audio adjustment features easy to understand and operate. To achieve this, clear functional zones, intuitive icons, and color coded buttons are used to significantly lower operational difficulty. In terms of performance, while achieving multiple device management, the product ensures superior audio quality through an independent audio chip and a professional transmission system, delivering pure, refined audio performance.
Project Duration
Designed and developed in 2024 in Wuxi, Jiangsu, the project was officially launched in China in January 2025.
Operation Flow
A vocal control knob and EQ faders allow fine and personalized tuning to sound details, while eight customizable shortcut keys allow the customization of frequent operations such as switching sound scenes or playlists, realizing one press access to a personalized sound environment. AI vocal control knob separates and attenuates or removes vocals from tracks in real time without quality loss, expanding listening possibilities.
Research
With the growing demand for home music, users are seeking speakers with elevated interaction experience and audio quality. However, most speakers operate independently, and when multiple devices are in use, frequently switching and adjustment often lead to a less seamless experience. Centered on centralized control, the Music Hub 1 redefines the seamless multiple room music experience by combining multiple device management, optimized interaction logic, and high quality audio output.
Inspiration
Inspired by professional MIDI controllers, the Music Hub 1 combines a modern touchscreen with classic physical buttons, balancing modern technological style and retro charm. It offers professional grade audio control and intuitive operation, elevating it beyond a simple music player into a music hub that combines practical functionality with the fun of control.
Project Overview
Morningblues Music Hub has been a Silver winner in the Audio and Sound Equipment Design award category in the year 2025 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
