Unique Properties

REN62S is a 19-meter performance motor yacht developed to challenge conventional expectations of space and functionality within a compact yacht platform. The project focuses on delivering the spatial quality and onboard experience of a larger vessel while maintaining a disciplined, performance-oriented architecture. The yacht accommodates three cabins, generous outdoor living areas and integrated storage solutions within a carefully structured layout. Each space is organized through a clear functional hierarchy, allowing social and private zones to coexist without compromising circulation or comfort. This spatial strategy enables the vessel to achieve an unusually high level of usability for its size. The structure is built in lightweight aluminum and reinforced with carbon fiber components in key areas, creating a strong yet weight-efficient platform. This material strategy improves performance, fuel efficiency and durability while maintaining structural rigidity. A panoramic roof glazing system introduces abundant natural light into the main interior volume, visually expanding the saloon and strengthening the connection between the interior environment and the surrounding seascape. The exterior design expresses the strong and masculine identity of Renda Yachts through sharp lines, controlled surfaces and a confident stance. REN62S presents a refined balance between spatial intelligence, structural efficiency and contemporary yacht aesthetics, delivering the presence and functionality of a significantly larger yacht within a highly optimized 19-meter platform.

Production Technology

REN62S is engineered using advanced marine grade aluminum alloys, creating a lightweight yet highly durable hull structure. Precision CNC cutting and modular fabrication techniques enable structural accuracy and efficient production. Carbon fiber elements are integrated to enhance both structural performance and visual identity. The construction approach prioritizes weight optimization, structural strength and long term durability while maintaining the refined exterior geometry of the yacht.

Design Challenge

The main challenge was maximizing spatial efficiency within a 19 meter performance hull while preserving both exterior openness and interior comfort. Integrating three cabins, three heads, generous outdoor living areas and functional storage solutions required careful spatial optimization and millimeter level planning. Balancing the strong exterior identity of a performance yacht with the architectural comfort expected from modern onboard living demanded a holistic design approach where ergonomics, circulation and structural constraints were considered simultaneously.

Project Duration

The project’s design journey began in November 2025 in Marmaris,Turkey and reached completion by the end of December 2025, resulting in a meticulously crafted concept that exemplifies innovation, elegance, and attention to detail.

Operation Flow

REN62S is designed around an intuitive navigation and onboard interaction experience. The yacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta IPS 950 engines capable of reaching speeds up to 30 knots while stabilizer systems ensure smooth cruising. The helm integrates eight digital displays including ultrawide touchscreens and larger navigation monitors, allowing the captain to control navigation, vessel systems and onboard functions seamlessly. Remote control capability enables easier maneuvering during docking operations. Interior circulation is organized to allow natural movement between exterior decks and interior living spaces, enhancing comfort and usability during everyday operation.

Research

The design research explored how contemporary yacht users expect both performance and residential comfort within compact performance vessels. User interviews with yacht owners and analysis of modern onboard lifestyle patterns revealed a demand for natural daylight, flexible storage solutions and intuitive technology integration. These insights informed the spatial configuration of the yacht, leading to the integration of panoramic roof glazing, ergonomic circulation routes and multifunctional storage areas. The research outcomes demonstrate how spatial optimization and performance engineering can coexist to create a balanced and comfortable motoryacht environment.

Inspiration

REN62S was inspired by the desire to merge the emotional character of high performance sports vehicles with the architectural comfort of contemporary residential spaces. Modern yacht owners increasingly seek vessels that combine dynamic aesthetics with practical usability during extended stays onboard. This project explores how a compact performance hull can accommodate generous living areas, natural daylight and flexible storage solutions while maintaining a strong and recognizable exterior identity. The result is a yacht concept that reflects a modern lifestyle at sea where performance, comfort and spatial clarity coexist.
