Excentrico is a constructive product of the openwork block function. It inspired by the Caribbean location where it is necessary for spaces to be permeable. This product serves the purpose of optimizing the natural ventilation of the architectural spaces inside achieving a better natural circulation used as a bioclimatic strategy. It is developed in 3 variants with the difference of the shape of the central hole.

Unique Properties
Attending to the invitation of tropics locations with daring and originality was designed a series of openwork blocks that respond with a unique and dynamic character to integrate the breeze and air circulation used for a special project with a bioclimatic challenge for Caribbean reality. Excentrico it is a constructive product of openwork block function. In three versions we make this product in order to optimize the natural ventilation of the architectural spaces inside.

Production Technology
Industrial-made concrete block. This product is ideal for places where ventilation and lighting are required, while its holes offer an interesting architectural detail. Presented in three versions according to the geometry of the product, square, circular and mixed, manufactured with a single mold made by Aguayo Industries. These can be manufactured in different colors, according to the client's requirements. For all types of concrete works.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge for this product was making full-scale models using 3D printers and then developing the custom production mold to design specifications. In addition, perform consistency and functionality tests to be approved as a product locally.

Operation Flow
Excentrico, it is a constructive product of openwork block function. In three versions we make this product in order to optimize the natural ventilation of the architectural spaces inside. The main idea of this product is inspired by the conventional openwork block, but through the design of the product we make concave geometries to be able to increase the speed of the wind after its passage. Placing a hole of greater width on the outside for the entry of the wind and a hole of smaller dimension on the inside to accelerate to achieve the effect of ventilation of greater rapidity.
Research
Excentrico is a product designed to create permeable architectural spaces solving climatic ventilation problems. In addition, there is visual continuity through the small thresholds when unifying them to compose a wall.
Inspiration
The main idea of this product is inspired by the conventional openwork block, but through the design of the product trough concave geometries to be able to increase the speed of the wind after its passage. Placing a hole of greater width on the outside for the entry of the wind and a hole of smaller dimension on the inside to accelerate to achieve the effect of ventilation of greater rapidity.
