Multifunctioned Thermos Container for THERMOS
The treat cap is for 0 to 6 months babies, the design simulates breastfeeding with anti-bloating function, allowing babies to drink milk like in mother's arms. The cross-type duckbill cap is for 6 to 12 months babies at budding stage, which assures even stress on teeth and effectively lower the possibility of infant gagtooth. The straw cap is for babies above 12 months, drinking with straw can reduce residual milk in the mouth, thus less possibility of infant tooth decay. The treat, made with 20o silicon from Shin-Etsu Group (Japan), is neither too hard, nor too soft for babies.

Unique Properties
This is a multi-functional thermos container designed for different feeding stages. Each bottle has three caps: treat cap, duckbill cap, straw cap. The three in one design can meet the needs of children mouth development at different stages, help with baby weaning and lower the possibility of infant gagtooth and tooth decay. The feeding bottle is thermally insulated, which keeps the milk constantly warm in winter and help babies with digestion.

Production Technology
The body of the bottle uses Austenite 316L stainless steel. The cap is made with food grade polypropylene materials; the seal ring and rim and straw are all made with silicon; and the treat uses Shin-Etsu silicon from Japan.Three-phase vacuum suction: Thermos uses the industry leading three-phase vacuum suction technology to evacuate as much as possible the air inside vacuum layer, so that the bottle can maintain under high vacuum with less thermal convection, and extended thermal insulation of the bottle.Double layer structure: The product has double stainless layers. The bottle can maintain under high vacuum thanks to the above said air evacuation technology, but also keep a minimal contact surface between inner and outer tubes, which reduces as much as possible heat conduction and improves thermal insulation property with less heat loss.Heat reflection: The bottle inner wall is processed with mirror finished copper plating, which can reflect heat inside the bottle so as to avoid as much as possible heat radiation.
Design Challenge
As it was the first time that Thermos has developed treat design, the team started from scratch by studying the newborn feeding needs. After countless adjustments and testings, the team finally developed a treat that can address all the above-said issues.
Project Duration
Project launch time:The project started in April 2021 and finished in October 2021. Site: Kunshan, Jiangsu Province.
Research
According to China Children Oral Health Guiding Technical Regulation, it’s recommended that children over 18 months, no later than 2years, should stop using feeding bottles.There are 4 health hazards of long-term dependence on feeding bottles:No.1 Risk of tooth decay caused by the use of feeding bottles.No.2 Risk of obesity.No.3 Risk of lips and teeth deformations, problems of 'gagtooth' and 'underbite'.No.4 Impact on skeletal development in maxillofacial region, forming 'mouth breathing' face
Inspiration
Featuring the theme of close to nature, to allow babies to meet, respect and get close to mother nature. All product accessories are stored in inner drawer of the gift set. This interesting layered design can arouse babies’ desire to explore. In addition to the fancy packaging, this product also adopts leading thermal insulation technology of Thermos and the self-developed three cap in one bottle design for Growth series to meet the needs of babies at different stages since they were born.
