The SRC-2000 serves as the central controller for mobile robots and features a highly concurrent computing capability. This allows for the swift creation of various non-standard intelligent robots and enables comprehensive control integration. It also offers exceptional equipment expandability that facilitates connections with production operations and smart factory infrastructure. It is integrated with business software to empower users to construct a flexible and intelligent logistics system.
Controller, mobile robot, high computing power, core, high efficiency, AI
The SRC-2000 is impressively designed with an aluminum alloy metal housing and surface recesses that would enhance heat dissipation, structural strength, functionality, and resistance to magnetic interference. Moreover, the SRC-2000 is guarded with a special paint and measures to protect against moisture, humidity, and dust. This is expected to enhance its performance stability, making it suitable for harsh environments such as freezing workshops and areas exposed to temperature differences.
In fact, the rapid customization of the overall intelligent mobile robot construction, with the robot core controller as the smallest unit, places highly demanding requests on the controller. The SRC-2000 addresses this by significantly increasing the system computing power and speed through the simultaneous operation of GPU and CPU. By capitalizing on the GPU for image algorithms and other concurrent computing tasks, the SRC-2000 achieves a higher efficiency of task handling.
The project kicked off in June 2022 in Shanghai, wrapped up on January 2023 in Shanghai, and exhibited in March 2023 at the Shenzhen ITES.
The SRC-2000 offers a full set of pre-developed functions and a robust component ecosystem. Once the core controller is installed, user can easily achieve integrated control of each component, complete the construction of intelligent mobile robots, and use them directly, which in turn drastically simplifies the manufacturing process. User can assign task orders to one or more robots through a remote control interface and monitor the work status and task progress from time to time.
The SRC-2000 is equipped with AI deep learning capabilities, allowing it to automatically identify objects with broken or tangled surfaces, such as pallets in different colors, and perform adaptive pallet insertion and extraction. The SRC-2000 can simultaneously operate up to 5 sets of 2D laser units and 4 sets of 3D laser units. This confers the SRC-2000 more comprehensive and efficient environment sensing and execution capabilities.
In response to diverse industry demands, a controller that supports the rapid construction of a wide range of non-standard robots proves more cost-effective and time-efficient than designing an entire mobile robot system from nothing. This controller empowers users to swiftly respond to specific application requirements and customize solutions in exchange for smaller investment and shorter development cycle.
Src-2000 Mobile Robot Controller has been a Bronze winner in the Product Engineering and Technical Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
