Design Challenge
The hardest part of design was to find a visual language for modular system that would make the seamless whole, in any case of composition of three or more elements.
Project Duration
The project started at the beginning of 2018 in Sarajevo (B&H) and Djakovo (Croatia), and was produced in Djakovo (Croatia) during 2018, list of fairs and exhibitions: IMM, Cologne (Germany) in January 2019 BIG SEE AWARD - MONTH OF DESIGN, Ljubljana (Slovenia) in October 2019 AMBIENTA, Furniture Fair, Zagreb (Croatia) in October 2019 BFF, Belgrade (Serbia) in November 2019 AMBIENT Fair, Ljubljana (Slovenia) in November 2019 IMM, Cologne (Germany) in January 2020 and was planned to be presented at SALONE DEL MOBILE, Milano (Italy) in April 2020 Awarded Big See Product Design Award 2019
Operation Flow
For Living and Office spaces. It interacts with walls or empty space behind by not having the straight top line but having the dynamic appearance.
Research
The main research was focused visual language for modular system that would make the seamless whole, in any case of composition of three or more elements.
Inspiration
Scaled and stylized, visually-compelling reflection of metropolis for contemporary indoor spaces. Stable and hard on bottom, blurred and soft on top, continuous and endless horizontally... The dynamic structure with various heights, depths and transparencies creates apartments with different atmospheres, required by Sfumato residents - various everyday objects.
