The project started in August 2019 in Beijing and finished in March 2020 in Shenzhen China.
Operation Flow
The Natural Fountain has only one single button. Touch the button to turn it on, long press for 3 seconds to turn it off. It can work automatically.
Research
According to the China Urban Life Research, 78.4% of young people live in a high-pressure life, and they yearn for a comfortable and relaxed rural lifestyle. Products with natural style can engage people in association of natural lifestyle.
Inspiration
According to the China Urban Life Research, 78.4% of young people live in a high-pressure life, and they yearn for a comfortable and relaxed rural lifestyle. At the same time, pets living in the city are far from the original state of life in the wild. In this context, we hope to design a pet water dispenser to embodies an original linkage between human, pets and nature.
Project Overview
The Natural Fountain Driking Dispenser for Pets has been a Bronze winner in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
