The production technology and method of tea jelly are relatively mature. According to a few special methods can extract the effect component in the tea, for instance ultrasonic auxiliary enzymatic method, microwave method, also can retain the aroma of a few plants through the method such as embedding method.
The challenge is the extraction of the functional components in tea jelly. How to efficiently and completely extract the nutrients and maintain the tea flavor is the difficulty of the project. The creativity lies in the design of the game mechanism. Different from the traditional way of health preservation, which only fixes health problems after discovering them, the game design makes health preservation go deeper into the daily life of young people and enables users to maintain long-term health habits through interesting ways.
This project was started in Ningbo, China from November 2020, and was iterated in September 2021 in Hangzhou.
Build a gamified health system. Tea Jelly improves users' health. Vending machines are energy stations for users to obtain products in a timely manner. Mini program is a boot camp that provides convenient online shopping and fun games. Over the course of a week, users complete the system's tasks, such as exercising 30 minutes a day or going to bed and getting up early. After completing the mission, you can unlock more game content and physics rewards.
Food health and services research to help young people stay healthy. The methods of user research were questionnaire survey, interview and model analysis, and about 200 target subjects were investigated. Aiming at the three health questions that users are most concerned about: staying up late, drinking and accumulating food, as well as the two cycles of immediate health and long-term health. Using advanced tea extraction technology, six kinds of products were produced. Each one has a specific effect and taste. Product reviews have shown that the regimen is acceptable to young people.
There is a unique phenomenon in the current Chinese consumer market that people born between 1995 and 2000 are the main group buying health care products online. And the market size of functional food is gradually expanding. The study found that none of the functional foods on the market are made from traditional Chinese herb and food. In addition, the root causes of young people's ill health are anxiety at work and lack of healthy living habits.
