Production Technology
The round light panel can be customized to match different interior decoration styles. The aluminum alloy support of the product adopts a two-color oxidation process, which improves its texture and details and avoids various problems that may be caused by excessive disassembly, taking into account the functionality and aesthetics of the product.
Design Challenge
Major challenges: 1. The problem of moving energy storage at home 2. The visibility of the power Solution: 1. The aluminum alloy pulley support is designed for moving large product easily. 2. Through an App, user can know the status of power production and usage in real time and control it remotely. It enables user to know and control the household power system anytime and anywhere.
Project Duration
The project started in 2022 in Shenzhen and finished in 2022.
Operation Flow
The product can be fixed on the wall for single scene use; it also can be moved to any place in the home through the pulley support for flexible power supply.
Research
Research goal: Providing households with emergency electricity to ensure that household appliances can work several days when out of power. Research direction: High-capacity household energy storage Market research: Online research and data from professional research company Social impact: A brand-new attempt has been made in household energy storage. It created a more environmentally friendly, warmer and smarter household energy ecosystem.
Inspiration
The main body of the product is a circle shaped like the sun; combined with a power indicator light that can be adjusted in color, it symbolizes the concept of clean energy. Working with the household solar system, the product enables self-sufficiency in electrical energy.
Project Overview
Geneverse FAM Energy Storage Device has been a Bronze winner in the Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
