Unique Properties

This magnetic metal baseboard made of aluminum panel and metal back panel can realize glue-free and no plug-in installation by simple splice. The recyclable baseboard is easy to disassemble and is only 5mm thick after installation. The magnetic installation can reduce the release of toxic gases of aldehydes and benzene, and create an environment-friendly living condition. Production Technology

Both aluminum panel and metal back panel are magnetized, and can be installed without glue and plugs. Its oxidized surface is durable, moisture-proof and smooth. The baseboard adopts high-precision mechanical cutting to ensure a uniform and accurate size.

Featuring the simplified magnetic attraction approach that is free of glue, it avoids the release of noxious gases such as formaldehyde, and brings users a safer living environment.

Operation Flow

This magnetic metal baseboard made of aluminum panel and metal back panel can realize glue-free and no plug-in installation by simple splice. The disassembly and recycling of the product are also convenient. Its oxidized surface has a smooth texture, and the tilted design is relatively dust-proof.

Research

Baseboard is an indispensable ornament in modern interior architecture, which can make the wall and the floor connect firmer, reduce wall deformation and avoid the sabotage caused by outside force collision. The simple linear aesthetic appeal creates visual transition in walls and floors, blends with a variety of modern home styles, and gives more tension to interior spaces.

Inspiration

The wooden baseboard is susceptible to damp and pests, and the thick tile baseboard with high price is complicated to install and easy to gather dust. The traditional metal baseboard has two installation methods, namely plug-in installation and glued installation. However, the former one demands high accuracy, and the latter one will generate formaldehyde and other harmful substances. In this connection, the design team hopes to develop a baseboard to overcome the above shortcomings.

Project Overview

Magnetic Zosine Baseboard has been a Bronze winner in the Building Materials and Construction Components Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively.
