Production Technology

Fix the cervical spine in place and change the bad position to maintain normal posture. Support the neck muscles to rest, relieve muscle spasms, and relieve local pain. Restrict the excessive movement of the neck to maintain local stability, relieve and improve the pressure state of the cone space, correct the internal and external balance of the cervical spine, which is helpful to recover as soon as possible.

Design Challenge

In order to create a brand-new wear experience, the whole machine fabric removable washable design is adopted. Through numerous ergonomic wear tests, proofing tests and modifications, the first embedded tracheal neck fixator has been developed, and the innovative experience of all-in-one inflation and deflation has been created. The therapeutic product can be adjusted step by step. The product has the voice feedback of gear adjustment. A more therapeutic neck fixator makes the patient feel lighter and more comfortable to use.

The project lasted for 1 year and was completed in Guangzhou.

Operation Flow

Adapts an in-built gasbag and an interior line-hidden structure. Press the gasbag in the center to inflate, and press the exhaust button on the left of the product to exhaust air, hence realizing a convenient wireless portable product experience. There are six gears for adjusting the product height and there will be a sound reminder when raising/lowering down each gear of height. To get the best fixing and supporting effect, the supporting plate behind the neck is designed to support the up-and-down adjustment, so users can select a suitable height to wear.

Research

In the treatment of patients with cervical spondylosis, plaster, stent, neck bracket and so on are often used to make the cervical spine get a stable state and achieve the purpose of treatment. This is neck fixation and braking, and cervical vertebra fixator is commonly used. The cervical spine fixator on the market has long inflation lines that affects patient use, while this design is a highly discernible structural functional form and differentiated product, with internal wiring, integration, centralized functional area, and upgrades operation experience.
