This micro hyperbaric chamber represents a miniaturized, intelligent solution to facilitate hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the comfort of homes. This method is designed to improve accessibility and convenience of treatment, rendering it an ideal option for auxiliary medical treatment. The product is not limited to medical treatment, as it can be applied to diversified fields, including sports rehabilitation and beauty care, to meet demands for comfortable, safe, personalized treatment.

The ABS shell features a large organic glass, providing structural durability and a sense of spaciousness. Its interior has adjustable seating, soft linings, and multifunctional displays. To optimize the intelligent experience, the product incorporates an oxygen concentration control, real time monitoring of the chamber status, and a smart regulation mechanism. Additionally, multiple safety measures ensure user safety, including automated emergency procedures and intelligent pressure control.
The challenge was to achieve the treatment anticipation better. The micro hyperbaric oxygen chamber is equipped with an advanced air purification and circulation system, ensuring that the air breathed in by the user is sterile and harmless. The air conditioning system can be precisely regulated for the comfort and safety of the treatment. The device can also share data with hospitals through interconnection, facilitating telemedicine consultations and aiding in timely treatment adjustment.
The project is scheduled to launch in May 2024, having been initiated in February 2023.
The oxygen chamber can intelligently ascertain the user identity and integrate with a smart bracelet to obtain the user body data in real time, enabling automatic mode adjustment for optimal treatment followup. Users can customize the treatment parameters and operate by voice commands. The central control screen monitors the chamber status to ensure treatment safety. Additionally, the chamber door features a dual way opening design, facilitating quick access to emergency medical assistance.
Micro hyperbaric oxygen therapy can enhance dissolved oxygen concentration in the bloodstream, thus boosting wound healing, mitigating oedema, and fortifying infection resistance. In light of this principle, the current study has proposed a micro hyperbaric oxygen chamber that combines safety, comfort, functionality, and intelligent design while expanding its applications to include hospital data interconnection to optimise oxygen therapy outcomes and user experience.
The appearance design draws inspiration from the smooth, rounded contours and fine texture of pebbles. The configuration of the product is based on an oval structure tilted at a 45 degree angle, with ambient lighting that follows the overall outline of the product. The lighting serves a dual purpose, providing both gentle illumination and a warm and cosy ambience. This design enhances the overall aesthetics and fits ergonomics, improving the overall comfort during use.
Yang Wang Micro Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber has been a Bronze winner in the Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively.
