Unique Properties
Click is a kind of traceless stapler. The product’s user group is mainly students, with its interesting cartoon animal shape that makes it out of the ordinary. Its main function is to blind without holes with reusable clips which protect paper integrity. The innovative structure design and full account of ergonomics enable it to complete automatic and continuous clamping to enhance work efficiency. The minimalist materials and the reusable features make the design sustainable.

Production Technology
The components of this product include plastic enclosure, metal spring, and metal clips. The enclosure is made of Abs plastic injection molding and the pattern is made of screen printing at low cost.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge is the ergonomic design of the product. Because the product is a handheld tool, the appropriate size and shape curve are required to optimize the use experience.
Project Duration
The project runs from March 2022 to February 2023 in Ningbo, China
Operation Flow
1. Put in the reusable stainless steel clips 2. Hold the Click and align the opening with a stack of paper 3. Push the bottom forward 4. Repeat 2-3 times to complete the binding
Research
Investigate the needs and preferences of student user groups to determine the function, shape, and color of the product.
Inspiration
Students have a great need for document organization, while there is no traceless stapler on the market that is specifically designed for and loved by students. By conducting user research such as interviews and questionnaires on campus, we identified cartoon images such as bears, monsters and piglets as the main design elements. We hope the design can increase the fun of using stationery and improve users’ learning or office efficiency.
