Production Technology
This device integrates multiple filtration layers that can eliminate different types of air pollutants, enhancing overall air quality. Equipped with a powerful compressor, it sets a new standard for dehumidification, capable of removing up to 60 liters of moisture per day and covering an area of 150 square meters.
Design Challenge
To address the challenges posed by humid environments, this device delivers excellent antibacterial performance and three modes: purification, dehumidification, and a combined option. It maintains optimal indoor humidity while eliminating pathogens. With advanced AI algorithms and precision sensors, this device can detect nuances of indoor temperature, humidity, and air quality in real time and respond intelligently. It can also work with other smart home appliances to optimize indoor conditions.
Project Duration
The design and development of this device began in Zhejiang in 2022, and it is scheduled to hit the market in China in 2024. The total research and development costs amounted to about 6.2 million yuan.
Operation Flow
The intuitive interface allows users to track indoor conditions in real time. The dedicated app enables remote control and provides easy access to detailed operational reports and data, offering deep insights into its performance and efficiency. The automatic solenoid valve system simplifies drainage with the touch of a button, and the device can also pump water upwards for drainage. With caster wheels and recessed handles on both sides, moving the device is truly effortless.
Research
Traditional products often lag in their response in air quality management, which can impact the health and comfort of users. In response, this device integrates AI powered omnidimensional sensing technology. It can detect even the slightest changes in indoor temperature, humidity, and air quality in real time. It then intelligently responds and proactively optimizes indoor conditions. By seamlessly working with other smart home appliances, it ensures optimal comfort and hygiene levels indoors.
Inspiration
This device features a translucent black screen inspired by the 3D floating displays often seen in spacecrafts. This design is visible from a distance, with an integrated control panel on the front for both aesthetics and convenience. The screen also integrates a breathing light belt that changes its color among green, yellow, or red to clearly indicate air quality in real time. The device has a simple rectangular body with meticulous proportions, exuding a modern and technological aesthetic.

720 Combo Purifier Cum Dehumidifier has been a Silver winner in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products Design award category in the year 2024 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
