The Monica interior design project caters to modern families by blending retro and contemporary elements, creating elegant, historically evocative living spaces rich in artistic ambience and emotional exchanges. Covering living rooms, dining areas, bedrooms, and walk in closets, it features innovative designs like LDKB integrated spaces, open plan kitchen dining areas, and French inspired cream themed bedrooms to meet diverse, personalized, and socially interactive needs.
Retro and Modern Elements, Multifunctional Artistic Spaces, Classic European Aesthetics, Integrated Design Solutions, Ready Made and Custom Combinations
Materials include high quality PVC membranes, among others, chosen for their even colour distribution, smooth finish, ease of cleaning, water resistance, and flexibility, ensuring aesthetic appeal and durability. The combination of ready made and custom designs enhances product flexibility and customization options.
The challenge lies in expanding multifaceted styles and social scenarios while maintaining residential attributes. Innovative approaches like LDBK integration and open plan kitchen dining spaces create dopamine inducing art exhibitions. Carefully selected retro colours enhance spatial retro charm and dynamism, whereas premium materials ensure overall beauty and longevity, setting new benchmarks in modern home design.
Launched in March 2024 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, the project was completed in October and launched in December in the same city.
The LDBK integrated space concept allows for flexible merging of living rooms, studies, and balconies, enabling users to adjust layouts based on activities or occasions, catering to personalized demands. Open plan kitchen dining designs eliminate traditional boundaries, enhancing social interactions during cooking and dining. Bedrooms and walk-in closets achieve a balance between functionality and aesthetics through efficient zoning and storage solutions.
As living standards and aesthetic tastes evolve, a demand for diversified and personalized home spaces is increasing. Traditional designs often fall short due to their singular styles and lack of emotional engagement. Monica addresses these gaps by integrating retro and modern elements to offer more comfortable, elegant, and historically resonant living environments for modern elites.
Inspiration for these designs comes from a harmonious blend of vintage and modern influences. Monica draws on classic lines and detailing from European architecture while incorporating contemporary design languages to breathe new life into timeless elements. The colour palette centres around retro greens and oranges complemented by earth tone fabrics, creating a warm, serene, yet sophisticated atmosphere. Natural elements like tropical plant motifs add a touch of freshness and vitality.
