Production Technology
Crafted from 50Cr15MoV steel known for its hardness and wear resistance, the knives stay sharp and durable over time. They feature a polymethylsiloxane coating and CVD antimicrobial technology to enhance corrosion resistance and prevent bacterial growth, ensuring hygiene and safety. The knife block uses PP material that resists heat and has high hardness, along with ABS plastic known for superior overall performance. This combination of materials provides stability and lasting durability.
Design Challenge
Traditional knife blocks are often bulky, difficult to clean, and can pose safety risks. To address these issues, this design prioritizes improving both convenience and safety of this knife set. The knife block incorporates a detachable design for easy and thorough cleaning, along with practical features like an integrated knife sharpener and a scissors holder to enhance usability. The reinforced base prevents the block from tipping or sliding during use, offering extra safety and peace of mind.
Project Duration
The design and development of this knife set began in Hangzhou in December 2024, and it is scheduled to be introduced to the Chinese market in June 2025.
Operation Flow
This knife set offers multiple functions such as slicing, chopping bones, and peeling to meet diverse food preparation needs. The slots are thoughtfully laid out for neat organization, eliminating hassles of cluttered countertops for efficient operation and a tidy kitchen space. The streamlined handles fit perfectly in the hand, reducing fatigue during extended use. Balanced weight distribution makes the knives easier to use with precise, smooth control, enhancing the ease of food preparation.

With rising living standards and growing demands for quality lifestyles, traditional kitchen knives fail modern families who value both kitchen aesthetics and practicality. Issues like limited functionality, bulky blocks, mold susceptibility, and tricky cleaning are problematic. This knife set stands out with unique color blocking in left and right sections, plus multiple practical functions and a detachable feature for easy cleaning.
