Unique Properties
The set consists of four different pieces: a glass, a bowl suitable for general use, a deep plate and a service plate. -The glass form can be used with many drinks and is also suitable for dessert service. -The bowl, which can be used as a salad or soup bowl, has colorful firefly patterns on its upper edges. -The flat-edged and patterned plate, which can be used as a main course or pasta plate, also provides a rich decor with the motif on its base. -The service plate will accompany you at your

Production Technology
Each piece was designed and molded in special sizes. It was produced by casting with high quality porcelain clay and baking with transparent glaze at 1230 degrees. In this production stage, firefly patterns were processed and in some sizes the patterns were specially colored or left transparent. Nature was respected in the entire production stage and a fair production approach was adopted. It is suitable for human health, food contact and dishwasher washing.
Design Challenge
Designed with multiple uses in mind, the set includes pieces. -Cup; Suitable for use as a snack or dessert bowl and as a drink glass. -Bowl; Ideal for breakfast cereal, soup, salad, hot appetizer or appetizer presentations. -Saturn plate; Ideal for sauced or non-sauced dishes such as pasta and juicy dishes. -Supla plate; Ideal for serving main courses as well as pasta services in terms of size.
Project Duration
The project duration is eight months. I started in June 2024 and completed the final version in February 2025. The design was designed and produced in Monte Porcelain Ayvalık workshop.
Operation Flow
The design was colored considering the suitability of white porcelain, also called bone porcelain, for food contact. It was cast in a plaster mold with liquid mud, and firefly patterns were engraved on with a special technique. Since firefly patterns are filled with glaze, they do not leak liquid and allow light to play. The nature used in this entire process was treated fairly and no living creature was harmed.
Research
During the production phase; -Porcelain clay, -Transparent and colored glaze suitable for high temperature firing, -Plaster mold, -Electric high-grade firing kiln suitable for firing was used. The entire production process was completely handmade and hand-painted.
Inspiration
Porcelain dinnerware, which has become industrialized with industrial production, is generally seen as a single type and single color. However, the presentation of a meal should be as appetizing and attract attention as its flavor. The set, where handcraft and functionality come together, is as modern as it is nostalgic.
