Patchwork Table enables a coplanar combination of different materials, colours and textures in harmony. Projectional height of geometry that is the combination character of materials represents the leg structure, forming an echoless construct. It eliminates the problems of using different materials coplanarly and texture transitions with the intermediate jointing. Ability to break down to pieces on the upper surface of table is the main element of differentiation.

In the formation of the upper table, marble, wood, acrylic to glass, lacquered surfaces, leather and fabric covering, concrete surfaces to metal coatings can be used in combination with many alternative materials. The process units, which can be calibrated by upper table form, are produced with advanced technology by using Cnc milling cutters and Laser Cncs. Since all parts can be disassembled, they provide production and assembly flexibility.
The biggest challenge of Patchwork was to design such a variable structured mass as disassembled and totally disintegrable. Disintegration was the main idea of the flexibility of changing the upper tables of the product and should have spread to the whole character of Patchwork. It was one of the biggest challenges we have struggled to combine materials with different expansion values in a coplanar way.
The project was first designed in February 2016 and completed in March 2016. In November 2018, we participated in Design Week Turkey with this project.
This variability ability enables all kinds of material to be used in a hassle-free harmony. Such flexibility produces a table in different sizes using standard parts that allow for construction. Flexible materials and dimensional construction create an artistic piece of furniture with Patchwork Table's astonishing design line. This variable structure and flexible fabrication of dimension make it meet all needs both as a meeting table and a dining table.
We set out with the idea of creating a table that could be produced in different sizes, with the same standard parts and with the flexibility to use different materials, but which would exhibit a random image without repeating parts and would meet many different functions. Combining different materials with random lines in a synchronous pattern has brought us to a design freedom and originality in Patchwork.
The use of different industrial materials together on the table coplanarly was a source of inspiration for us. You can change the ones you want from Patchwork's upper table and adjust to your new decoration and new trends. In addition, upper tables are the areas that are most exposed to deformation in horizontal plane. A local deformation in the upper table can be removed very simply by part replacement in Patchwork. It can easily adapt to the spaces as a dining or meeting table.
