Stroller for Yuefeng ZHOU
The product is inspired by normal childcare life experience in dealing with different childcare products in various conditions. It has an evolutionary system of three combined functions which is different from the traditional ones. When people want to take their children to a park nearby, it shows the original function. People may also choose biking, an environmentally friendly travel mode, and put it in the back seat. It can evolve to a feeding highchair in any place if the child feels hungry. Its evolutionary characteristic achieves safety, convenience, and cool appearance.

The parents can choose biking, an environmentally friendly travel mode, and put the stroller in the back seat. If the child feels hungry, the stroller can evolve to a feeding highchair in any place. The stroller's evolutionary characteristic makes it possible to achieve a perfect balance of safety, convenience, and cool appearance.

The project started in June 2018 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China and would be available for mass consumption in July 2020 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.
Operation Flow
The evolutionary system is the important design elements in this design. And the stroller's evolutionary characteristic makes it possible to achieve a perfect balance of safety, convenience, and cool appearance.
Research
We take mechanical simulation experiments of inner structure sampling points. Based on the simulation data, structure sampling points are rearranged properly, and the stroller finally gets an integrated structure system. Considering the convenience of parametric technique, we can directly control the density parameter of the whole structure system, and specification parameter of the supporting system. After mechanical simulation experiments of the latest structure, the result of simulation effects controls parameter, which promotes the stroller's adaptation to different users and usage scenarios.
Inspiration
The evolutionary stroller is inspired by normal childcare life experience which is a headachy thing to deal with different childcare products in various conditions, for example, a stroller for an outside walk, a back child seat for outdoor bilking, a highchair for child feeding, etc. The evolutionary stroller is a consequence of real-life experience, which gives the stroller perfect physical performance in aspects of convenience, efficiency, and space-saving. Thus, we apply joined functions into the improvement of stroller design.
Project Overview
Evolutionary Stroller has been a Bronze winner in the Baby, Kids' and Children's Products Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
