Speaker Light for Najafi Design Studio
Due to the increasing problems and stresses of human life, some environmentally friendly behaviors have been forgotten by humans, so it was decided to design a speaker with special features for these problems. The design of this product is based on respect for plants as living beings that human beings ignore. It's been tried to design a minimal speaker that indicates the three main stages of dandelion life (seed, growing, and death). By using magnetic field technology it gives a sense of levitating. The music will be playing on this speaker is a symbol of the silent sound of the plant.

Production Technology
A hollow glass ball is made by glass-blowing with five holes for batteries and LED lights, and a bottom hole is a place for a magnet to create a magnetic field. There is a small black sponge ball that has is a six-way piece inside of it for tightening the pipes.
Design Challenge
One of the main challenges of this design was emphasized that the glass ball being one piece, to the consultations with a glassblower was decided to make the glass ball with the blowing method. To enter the small black ball into the glass ball, the glassblower recommended using a flexible material like a sponge so the central black ball is made with a sponge that can be pressed and entered into the glass ball.
Project Duration
It started in Esfahan, Iran in October 2020 and finished in December 2020.
Operation Flow
You can connect your device to this speaker Via Bluetooth technology. To charge the light's battery is needed connecting the ball to the port on the base. One of the main traits is protecting the interior ball with external cover in unexpected situations as a power outage.

Some researchers have been done on the magnetic field technology, glass-blowing. Due to the increasing stress in human lives, this design can help people to wind down their minds.
Inspiration
The design of this product is based on respect for plants as living beings that human beings ignore. It's been tried to create meaning to this design, that people reflect it in their lives. This product includes the three levels of a dandelion's life: seed, growing, and death. This product has been used the reversing method, not in its form but its philosophy. The music will be playing on this speaker is a symbol of the silent sound of the plant. The lifting ball as a moving object can represent this design as a living creature.
