Rapid Security Check is a self-service security express lane to improve the efficiency of safety checkpoints on subways and high-speed trains. People push the box to walk as usual, the box directly pushed through the check machine. This design adopts two layers of check at the same time, small items can be placed in the upper. The machine conforms to the principle of ergonomics and can ensure smooth screening process.

Design Challenge
For security facilities, it is necessary to consider the working principle of the operation process, such as the working principle of X-ray baggage security machine and how to systematically complete the whole process to improve the efficiency.
Project Duration
The project began in January 2020 in Fushun, Liaoning Province, China, and ended in November 2020 in Fushun, Liaoning Province, China. 2020 Goldreed Industrial Design Award, Xiongan New Area, Hebei, China.
Operation Flow
Rapid Security Check consists of two layers of screening channels. When passengers go through it as usual, they can push the suitcase directly through the lower check machine. Small items can be conveniently placed in the upper channel, which ensures smooth security check process.
Research
At present, subway and high-speed rail have become important means of transportation in China,which brings great convenience to people's life but also has some hidden troubles. Traditional screening machines use metal gates, which take two seconds to complete, but actually take longer for a variety of reasons. "Rapid Security Check" can realize self-service rapid security check during walking to meet people's travel safety and enhance consumers' happiness in using the product.
Inspiration
The rapid development and convenience of public transportation promotes the passengers' traffic increasing. Inthecaseofsubways and high-speed trains, due to the safe operation under high pressure. Ride in the peak hours, staff is relatively dense, safety and manage is relatively hard. Traditional security check procedures are mainly manual and complicated. With the development of technology, more convenient and self-service security express lane is the development trend.
