Design Challenge

The innovative feature of the moderna tea machine is the use of a french press and the ability to brew herbal tea other than black tea. With its three basic functions and the temperature values ​​defined on the keys, the product gives notification at the ideal temperature in the brewing process. When the boiling point is reached in the kettle function, the product gives a notification and ends the process.

Project Duration

The project started in April 2021 and finished in November 2021 in İstanbul.

Operation Flow

The innovative feature of the moderna tea machine is the use of a french press and the ability to brew herbal tea other than black tea.

Research

It is aimed to design a technological new generation product with current design and color trends. The product form is designed to create its own format language. The line of the product is inspired turkish culture. This product is a modern interpretation of a traditional ritual. With the material choice and color combination of the Moderna tea machine, the technological perception of the product has been strengthened and a new generation product has been created. The details in the handle form of the product enrich the general appearance.

Inspiration

A design language has been created to develop a product that can be controlled with an easy-to-use, understandable interface and is compatible with the environment in terms of volume. Today's consumption habits have been taken into consideration in the usage practice and reflected in the design. In this context, details that will support the grip ergonomics are included in the handle form of the product.
