Production Technology
4 in 1 SYSTEM uses metal pipe as a solid main frame, which can be matched with one or more solid wood plate partitions, or select sheet metal accessories to form a closed cabinet for placing privacy items. Metal paint process to achieve colorful color change.
Design Challenge
The biggest challenge in the implementation and research process is to rely on only three elements: support bars, shelves, metal fittings, but can be combined into an infinite number of Quantity storage configuration. We hope to provide customers with storage solutions that can easily store clutter in their homes and bring a clean and organized home environment.
Project Duration
The project started in Zhengzhou in May 2022 and completed in Zhengzhou in September 2022.
Operation Flow
4 in 1 SYSTEM can be used as a flexible storage System, You can adjust the distance between the laminates through the bamboo type metal support rod and the plastic buckle, which is highly flexible and controllable for different storage needs. At the same time to provide a variety of types of accessories to achieve personalized customization.
Research
A recent Closet Clutter-Organization Survey from ClosetMaid found over half of the 2,000 Americans surveyed admitted they had a clutter issue, with about 23 miscellaneous and unnecessary items in their home; 57% said they keep items for sentimental reasons, while a third procrastinate throwing things away. Modular storage systems aim to take all this to a whole new level by being more practical, versatile and flexible. Users are installed and displayed in a variety of different configurations, rearranged according to individual needs and preferences.
Project Overview
4 in 1 System Storage Unit has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
