Material: Cork wood, paper. Production: laser cutting, flat output, manual coloring. Surface treatment: Use latex paint to color, retain the cork surface texture.
Because cork wood is made up of broken pieces, it will be uneven and need to be re-finished by hand, and because of the small size of the cork, the final size can be easily broken.
The project began in August 2022 and was completed in Tainan, Taiwan in March 2023.
The children were asked to find out the problems and make ecological restoration. After assembling and constructing the environmental components, the animals could be put back into their ecological state. Through conceptual guidance and practical implementation, children can remember more deeply.
Research Type: Team Teaching - Science, Art, Mathematics Objective: To learn and understand the effects of climate change and the habits of daily life Methods:To collect the causes, effects, mitigation and adaptation measures of climate change.Based on the analysis of commercial toys, this paper classifies the suitable play methods for children's age development, and analyzes the quality of toys, aiming at sustainable materials.A questionnaire was designed to investigate the environmental problems and improve the environment of children by interviewing with teachers. Data collection: climate change-related data analysis, 3-6 years old teaching toy market analysis, mass lifestyle analysis, early childhood teachers' opinions analysis. Research tools: Rhinoceros 3D, Solidworks, Adobe Illustrator, procreate.
According to the United Nation called for Sustainable Development Goals, two climate change issues namely the melting of arctic glaciers and over-deforestation of the Amazon rainforest, it brings out the seriousness of ecological damage cause by human, eventually global temperature rise, starvation, extinction of species. Let children learn and understand the effects of climate change to daily life, to develop their environmental concerns and habits from an early age education see its urgency.
