The most challenging issue in this project is the communication between designer and the factory. In order to let the traditional manufacturing company to transform, takes time to communicate with management personnel as well as on site worker, in order to implement the design.
This project was partially funded by Government grant, started in Febuary 2014 in Tainan, and finished the first stage in August 2014, 2nd stage started in April 2015 and ended in March 2016, and was exhibited in Taiwan Creative Expo in April 2016.

After several times of communication, design effort imposed. This set of furniture in unique shape with chinese tracery pattern comes to realise, eventually made its first appearance in 2016Taiwan Creative EXPO which had won the Cultural Creative Award.
I was inspired by the cultural heritage and element of Tainan, an old city of Taiwan. "ChuangHua" pronounce in chinese meaning the traditional chinese tracery, which is the most fascinating element one's can find every corner in this city. I just want to have a unique furniture designed in structure, manufacturing technology, material used with cultural element. Tracery pattern and Red in White was used as festive and auspicious image.
