SRC5000 is a versatile AI controller tailored for humanoid robots, enabling the integration of control across all robotic components. Its AI algorithm is developed by assimilating extensive environmental and task execution data from previous generations of industrial robots, enabling the humanoid robot to effectively generalize tasks in intricate industrial scenarios and continuously learn and optimize during operation.
Controller, High Computing Power, Task Generalization, AI, Humanoid Robot
The SRC5000 features a multiprocessor heterogeneous architecture. It further incorporates an AI processing module for precise visual information analysis, a collaborative processing module to enhance background task management, and a real time processing module that enables control of up to 64 axes with microsecond response times. This enhances system control efficiency and response speed at the architectural level.
Constructed on a heterogeneous computing architecture to tackle intricate industrial task, the high density integration poses some challenges on thermal management. The team devised a partitioned thermal management strategy: the AI collaboration module incorporates a base thermal plate for effective longitudinal heat transfer, while the real-time control module features surface dual cooling fins to improve convection, so the system functions continuously and reliably under full loads.
Initiated in October 2023 in Shanghai, the project wrapped up in August 2024 and was subsequently exhibited at the Shanghai International Industry Fair in September 2024.
The SRC5000 features all interfaces on a single panel, all systematically organized according to execution, energy, and sensing modules. This notably streamlines the processes of assembly, inspection, and maintenance for personnel. The operational procedure consists of controller assembly, selection of the appropriate controller within App, importing the robot model, configuring the comprehensive software components, importing maps, task placement, and conducting functional verification tests.
The SRC5000 features an integrated controller that enables centralized oversight of the components, in addition to offering a comprehensive development tool chain and App support. This integrated hardware and software framework drastically lowers the obstacles associated with the production and deployment of humanoid robots. Innovations in controller technology are propelling the broader acceptance of humanoid robots across a range of scenarios.
By utilizing a unit of integrated core controller to connect and manage all robot components, the SRC5000 amply streamlines the development process for industrial robots across various scenarios, cuts down development costs, and facilitates the swift deployment of humanoid robots, paving the way for their extensive commercial uses.
