Refining details through multiple prototypes to achieve seamless adaptability.

Operation Flow

Designed for ease, the lamp shifts smoothly between functions with a simple adjustment. The detachable base allows instant conversion from table lamp to pendant mode. Its balanced weight distribution ensures stability in both configurations. Users can modify placement and ambiance without complex installation. Aurum Light adapts seamlessly to evolving interior needs.

Research

A study of ancient lighting forms led to the reinvention of a historical concept. Research focused on modularity, translucency, and the emotional impact of light. Material selection aimed to optimize durability, aesthetics, and diffusion quality. Prototyping refined the locking system for ease of transformation and user experience. The final design embodies a seamless blend of tradition and contemporary innovation.

Inspiration

Inspired by centuries-old oil lamps, it reinterprets traditional lighting into a contemporary form. The soft glow of alabaster reflects the warm ambiance of ancient candlelight. Minimalist geometry harmonizes with luxurious materials, evoking timeless sophistication. It bridges past and present, blending historical references with modern functionality. Aurum Light pays tribute to heritage while embracing innovation.
