Ten centimeter lamp is a series of household lamps, designed for indirect and protective lighting of TV walls, computer workstations, and corners of living rooms. This lamp has three specifications, suitable for various scenes. Its structure is a fully detachable three-legged vertical design with a small footprint. The lamp body can rotate 360 degrees horizontally to emit light. The standard controller of the product is a wireless 2.4G remote control module, which has long-distance dimming. The material in these products is natural wood, which retains the natural texture and delicate touch.

Unique Properties
This is a lamp designed specifically for indirect and protective lighting on TV walls, computer workstations, and corners of living rooms. It is made of wood and aluminum alloy. The base and the luminous body can be rotated and separated, and the lighting angle can be adjusted by 360 degrees. The structure of the base is designed as a fully detachable three-leg cross.

Production Technology
CNC machining is introduced in the process, which can solve the precision problem of traditional way and is more effective to reduce the cost, helping to achieve industrial standardization of the production. The materials of this product mainly include wood, aluminum alloy and LED module, all of which have passed the domestic 3C certification. The wood is coated with Belgium wax, which can help products completely keeping the nature texture and delicate touch.
Design Challenge
The biggest difficulty in the manufacturing process, the combination process of aluminum alloy materials and natural wood is extremely resistant, and different thermal expansion and contraction ratios require several experiments to succeed. The early selection of materials was not solid wood, but a bamboo to make the main body of the lamp. However, after repeated experiments, due to the limitations of various bamboo factors, the bamboo was finally abandoned to replace the solid wood to realize the product.
Project Duration
The project has been implemented in Guangzhou since early 2017. At the beginning, many experiments of using bamboo as the material of the lamp body were carried out. Due to the limitations of bamboo, the bamboo element was replaced by wood in September 2017. After several tries of material testing, it began to enter the LED module experiment. And it finally began to sell on the domestic e-commerce platform in November 2018.
Operation Flow
The lamp utilizes flat packaging. The users can experience the fun of assembly and discover the ingenuity of the design by a simple installation process. The lamp body can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally.The brightness of the light can be adjusted by remote control, the breathing blinking mode of which can also be set. While experience the technology, you may wish to touch the wooden lamp body, feeling the friendly, natural and exquisite workmanship.
Research
How to combine the traditional wisdom and creative ideas is always the challenge to designer. To seek for a kind of product to let the user can experience the modern element and meanwhile feel the traditional emotion is also the target of us. For a new lamp design, we collected the global product information to analyze market demand. And we positioned our products designed as friendly, lightweight, innovative, smart, economical and especially suitable for dynamic lifestyle of young people.
Inspiration
If there is no suitable auxiliary light when working or watching TV at home, the pupil of the eye will be enlarged, which may cause visual fatigue day by day .It inspirited us to develop these series of eye protection lamps. This lamp has three specifications, suitable for various scenes, and can also be used as an ambient light in corners, such as bedsides and sofa-sides etc.
