The metal parts of the Lens Series are made of 304 metal forged fingerprint-resistant metal, and the curved surface of the metal parts need to be polished by hand, in order to fulfill the aesthetic aspect of the curvature and to keep the structure steady in use. PMMA materials are subject to the gradient color PMMA spraying process. Metal parts are inlaid to the glass profile with joints beveled, which not only avoid an excess use of adhesives and enhances eco-friendly property, but also keep the combination furniture firm and steady.
How to make a trade-off in respect of art aesthetics and structural stability of the furniture is considered the biggest challenge in the design process. In the early phase of design, we chose to use tinted metal and colored PMMA glass. However, we came to realize that structural stability and comfort are crucial for furniture products, and the special material nature also challenges how we present the best art furniture.

With respect to the transition of light and shadow, frosted acrylic and transparent finishes are blended, to the extent that color gradients would be subject to optical transition according to the incident light. The shadowing effect of various colors is created. This series can be used alone or in set that fits to modern home.
