Little Cube offers the best outdoor experience for pet owners and pets. The unique 20-degree angle of the backpack helps to evenly distributes 20% of the weight, shifting the center of gravity to the owner's back. This provides a stable and comfortable carrying experience, reducing pet anxiety and dizziness. The trapezoidal backpack design and effortless straps maintain the 20-degree angle while walking. The soothing window and black mesh cover provide visibility and comfort during outings.

Production Technology
Little Cube features a durable, breathable, and safe PVC mesh fabric. The high-density EPE foam shoulder straps provide a lightweight and comfortable carrying experience. The detachable support structure at the opening allows for easy storage without taking up much space. The removable bottom tray is hair-resistant and can secure pee pads. With its matte leather-like exterior and versatile gray-white color scheme, Little Cube blends seamlessly into the cozy lives of pet parents.
Design Challenge
The patented trapezoidal 20-degree angle successfully improves the pet's balance inside the backpack, providing a greater sense of security. The exclusive effortless straps allow the bag to maintain its shape without collapsing when lifted, with weight evenly distributed, making it easier for the owner to use. With 4 carrying modes, it suits various scenarios, catering to all moments of both owners and pets. Beyond appearance, our focus lies in analyzing the user experience journey, enhancing the joy, relaxation, and peace of mind when traveling together with pets.
Project Duration
Little Cube was launched in Taiwan in 2022 and received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD in the same year in Japan.
Operation Flow
With its precise 20-degree bottom incline and exclusive effortless straps design, Little Cube can be easily lifted, providing a stable and secure experience during movement, keeping pets close to their owners to give them peace of mind. The spacious and comfortable interior with multiple openings can serve as a cozy sleeping space for pets at home and helping them familiarize themselves with the bag and build trust with the backpack for outings.
Research
More people are staying constantly with their pets, but using only a strap during outings can cause shoulder soreness for owners and instability for pets. Little Cube addresses this by distributing the pet's weight onto the owner's back, reducing shoulder burden. After careful calculations, a critical angle of 20 degrees was determined. The slightly tilted bottom guides the pet to lean against the owner's back, sharing the load and providing security.
Inspiration
More people prefer constant companionship with their pets, and pet-friendly environments for owners and pets to travel together is a trend. However, we've noticed the hassle and exhaustion of taking pets outdoors, often due to unsuitable carrying tools. Little Cube aims to provide a safe and comfortable experience for both pets and owners. Through weight adjustments, we have successfully enhanced the outing experience, allowing pets and owners to enjoy their journey.
