Leveraging CNC technology, metal bending.
The project started in April 2024 in Viet Nam and finished in July 2024.
In moments when you need to release negative energy, you can rake the sand directly on the table. This is a dynamic meditation technique often employed in actual Zen gardens. The designated teapot area can also be used as a simple tea rinsing station, enhancing the sensation of waves. The combination of rocks and water creates a truly unique experience.
The project focuses on researching the principles and imagery that a Japanese dry garden utilizes to bring about new psychological states in the experiencer. As such, this design has harnessed two fundamental images of nature: waves and rocks. The arrangement employs triangles or odd numbers, and the table legs are expressed through natural and uneven curves to bring about the most natural feeling possible.
Inspired from the perspectives and philosophies of Japanese Zen gardens. Exploiting the images of mountains and waves to create a miniature natural landscape. This will provide a tea-drinking experience that blends seamlessly with a sense of meditation.
