This wok is designed to tackle common cookware issues like loose handles on the wok body and lid, coating flaking, and food sticking. It innovates in aesthetics, stability, and durability, redefining the cooking experience for users. By optimizing production techniques and precisely controlling costs, this wok design offers an affordable option that brings joyful cooking experiences.
Wok, Ceremonial headwear of traditional Chinese imperial court, Ceremonial headwear of traditional Chinese imperial court, Advanced heat insulating technology, Hidden anti loosening structure with multiple layers, Pure black iron with titanium plasma spray
The central screw integrates tightly with the handle via insert injection molding, paired with an automotive grade anti loosening rubber ring and nut for lasting stability in various cooking scenarios. With an innovative heat insulating structure, the metal handle keeps its metallic finish and meets strict Chinese safety standards to prevent scalds. The wok body blends pure black iron with titanium plasma spray for a nonstick surface without coating. Precise cost control yields economic benefits.
The challenge was to balance cost reduction and high quality. The wok body combines pure black iron with titanium plasma spray, using high temperature and pressure to fuse ceramic titanium powder into the iron to create a microporous titanium layer. This forms a nonstick surface without coatings, while also reducing rust and improving corrosion resistance. Optimized production techniques and precise cost control make the wok an affordable option that enhances cooking enjoyment and life quality.
The design and development of this wok started in Beijing and Shanghai in January 2024. It was introduced to the Chinese market in September 2024.
Red, the signature color of the brand, stands out vibrantly in kitchens, offering a conspicuous visual cue. The red metal decorative ring on the wok handle increases visibility during use. The bakelite handle is skin friendly and heat resistant for a comfortable grip, with its length designed for balanced center of gravity and easy handling. The proportion between the wok handle and the outer diameter of the wok body approaches the golden ratio of 1 to 0.618, offering an optimal user experience.
Stability and durability are major concerns in the cookware market. Handles on the lid and wok body often become loose, impacting the user experience and posing safety risks. Coating flaking and food sticking can directly affect the lifespan and performance of cookware. To solve these issues, this wok blends traditional Chinese imperial court culture with modern design concepts, ensuring both beauty and functionality.
Inspired by the ceremonial headwear of ancient Chinese officials, which symbolizes progress and achievement, this wok features a red treasure pot design, with the lid handle perfectly complementing the overall design concept. It goes beyond basic functionality, offering users auspicious symbolism and artistic enjoyment.
