Qoros 7 marks a successful attempt to apply Qubic Aesthetics, a new family design language of Qoros brand, to SUV models. It features a synergistic application of iconic square design on the car appearance, moving shape, highly intelligent vehicle system, ergonomic seats and practical riding and loading space.

Featuring an extensive use of ultra-high strength steel and lightweight aluminum for its body structure, Qoros 7 ensures the safety of passengers and pedestrians. The interior is made of a wide range of eco-friendly fabrics, soft leathers and composites, and the panel adopts laser leather texture technology, bringing a three-dimensional texture that feels great to the touch. Many of its details, such as the suspension side window switch using black piano paint process, are exquisite and elegant.
Creating an innovative design language that is globally recognizable and perfectly applied to new products requires a combination of the latest technology and high-end manufacturing processes to bring a pleasant experience for drivers and passengers. As automobiles are inherently complex industrial products, it takes a great deal of effort to gradually transform the concept into a realizable product.
The project commenced in Shanghai in April 2018, and was completed in Shanghai in June 2020. It was officially launched online in August 2020, and presented at the Beijing Automotive Exhibition in September 2020.
The Qoros 7 interior features an innovative T-shaped layout that provides a convenient digital experience through its 2 digital screens of 12.3-inch behind the steering wheel and 14.6-inch on the center channel along with the built-in voice assistant Mr.Q. The wraparound shoulder seats are ergonomic and multi-functionally adjustable, able to accommodate passengers of different sizes. Also, its large-capacity baggage compartment can meet the loading needs of family travel.
Qubic Aesthetics is based on the classical Chinese philosophy of spherical heaven and flat Earth, with its core design idea of bounded shape but boundless mind. The pronunciation of the brand name Qoros sounds similar to the Greek word Khoros (meaning harmony), and its concept also mirrors the characteristics of ancient Greek architecture, which expresses the same idea: the pursuit of beauty is not limited by the bounded world.
Inspired by classical Chinese philosophy and ancient Greek architecture, the new design language Qubic Aesthetics brings a wide square visual effect on the car front and rear, and a full and smooth shape that draws inspiration from The Wave of Utah. Qoros 7 builds the highly recognizable brand image with its distinctive aesthetic character conveyed by its ubiquitous square symbols.
Qoros 7 SUV Model has been a Golden winner in the Car and Land Based Motor Vehicles Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
