This series of lounge chairs designed with candies as the origin inspiration. Overall appearance is lively and the color is playful in total. The overall shape is similar to the shape of candies, and combined with the support structure of home seats to form a lively and flexible seat form. And this process adopts wood production, manual sewing, sponge filling and other processes, The geometric wood frame, combined with soft sponge, cloth cushion and backrest, makes the shape mellow.

Unique Properties
This group of furniture comes from the dazzling candies. By refining the high saturation color and mellow shape of candies, combined with the single support structure of home seats,.And it evolved into a colorful, playful and flexible seat form. The skeleton is made of solid wood, and the soft bag part is made of manual cloth sewing and sponge. The overall shape is round and bony, which meets the daily leisure use, and the bright color makes the indoor environment quite pleasant.

Production Technology
The supporting structure of the product is made of solid wood in primary color, which adopts modern numerical control technology and is formed by machine cutting and manual grinding. The soft bag part is made of cloth with plush texture and bright color, which is sewn by manual cloth art and made by sponge filling process.
Design Challenge
Seek the organic combination between the hardness of solid wood and the softness of soft bags, increase the sense of strength of products when looking for round and lovely shapes, and control the use of colors when matching beautiful colors, so as to make them warm, lovely and not messy.
Project Duration
The design had started in Shenyang in March 2021, completed in Shenyang in June 2021, and displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June in 2021.
Operation Flow
It is suitable for leisure and entertainment. It can sit with feet hanging or knees bent. Whether it is reading, drinking tea or rest and play, the soft cushion and backrest bring users a sense of safety and comfort. At the same time, the round shape and beautiful colors can also be used for interior decoration.
Research
The seat is designed with colored candies as the inspiration source, and strives to retain the warm and relaxed feeling of users when selecting a wide range of candies in front of the window. On the basis of retaining the round shape of candy, the colorful colors are extracted and applied to the design.
Inspiration
The design takes the dazzling and mouth watering candies in the window as the inspiration source. The candies refine the high saturation color and mellow and attractive appearance shape respectively. Supported by solid wood, they contrast with soft sponge and cloth. The shape is round and smooth, playful and flexible, and decorated with bright colors, which makes people feel like being in candies and give people a sense of fantasy, Add a touch of beautiful color to the room.
Project Overview
Sweet Candy Leisure Chair has been a Iron winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
